• its unequivocally democratic structure and mode of operations

• its broad based voluntary strong support by its constituent Federations and Associations in United States and Canada

• its strictly nonpartisan nature and its emphasis on developing a robust and sophisticated representation in Athens and in Washington, DC, as well as in setting up an invaluable functioning team at each Congressional district in the nation

• its strong commitment to the ideals of Hellenism and to the propagation of Hellenic culture

• its dedication in supporting the interests of the United States of America, of Greece and of Cyprus, especially with a focus on the Eastern Mediterranean and the Balkan regions

• its overwhelming desire and abiding interest in forging the long overdue "Unity of Hellenism in America and Canada", through fair and democratic means
